time flies eh? 1 entry back, i was counting down to my big trip… and here i am, already into my 4th week since I’m back from the states!

ultimate suay-ness
yesterday, boss announced that it will be half day today due to platts, so everyone expected to come in 0930H to 1400H. To me, it doesn’t matter much cause our enquiries will still come in 1630H still; and it will ultimately end up as a full day work. but our DEAR senior trader made noise on the revised hours since he claimed that he got nothing to do… (sending out oct 2010 contracts on 20 april 2011! ).
so, apparently, the half day was cancelled last night, but no one informed me cause they THOUGHT i knew! how smart… and did i mentioned that i slept lesser and paid ERP to come in earlier? wanted to console myself with my coco krunch breakfast but to find out that the milk was left outside at room temperature..
ciao to my sleep, my money and my breakfast…

midweek!
while turning up the everyday route up the carpark at harbourfront… albino gave me a lil surprise;
he zoomed and ‘landed’ in front of my side of the dashboard! got me smiling to welcome the day 
its been so long since i have the mood for ‘breakfast’ in office…
then i escaped to FORLINO for lunch @ ONE FULLERTON! my first time there though…

I had the complimentary focaccia, lobster pasta for main course, and lemon tart for dessert! overall, i think the food is not value for money; and the fact that i didn’t get to enjoy the scenery since it was raining!
its yet another episode with taking cab back to office, waited 30mins for a booked cab that never came! someone please teach me how to cancel a booking that i made with fastcall? and which smart alex named places with such similar names? ONE FULLERTON, FULLERTON BAY HOTEL, FULLERTON HOTEL!
mr cabby, please don’t pick up my booking if u aint sure of the place ma, and for sure its not my fault cause i used fastcall according to what i saw 1 metre away instead of talking to the operator!
on a lighter note, its another 13 days!! yipee, and wish us luck~

weak…
no longer feel energized to step into office, physically charged but mentally drained. even spoke to the bosses that i felt demoralised and sian over the whole episode; its okay that things i do ain’t appreciated, its okay that colleagues take me for granted, its okay to pile so much work on me… but it’s not okay that you accuse me of something i didn’t do, and ultimate sadness is when the person who should understand me the most, don’t understand where i am coming from… disappointment is all is left…
I no longer know what i am fighting for and what i really want; feeling all dejected but no one i can speak and relate to… the more i complain at home, the more my mum feels bad for ‘forcing’ me into the job, personal friends don’t really understand what this stupid industry is all about, industry friends that u have to ‘guard’ and be extremely careful in your words…
its a passing phase of what i am feeling, but this cycle is getting shorter and shorter…
please give me the faith to believe, to find interest in what i am doing, to enjoy what i am doing…

22nd August: Covent Garden Market and Shopping along Oxford Street
While waiting for lunch… with someone performing Deng Li Jun’s songs at the background!
you can find scented candles, scarves, paintings, tshirts, handicrafts etc. I only managed to get a very nice carved parrot pen for myself if I don’t remember wrongly!
Then we headed down to more shopping at oxford street… Accidentally walked in Primark to find very cheap buys! A dress cost less than 10 pounds, 3 pack undies at 4.50 pounds, boots at 12 pounds etc! Nearest Metro to PRIMARK is “Marble Arch”, there are many other nice shops nearby!

Welcome to London
place where i call “HOME” for 5 days
damn tired after 13 hours of flight… and this was the only photo taken that night… had a 4 course dinner till SG 6 am, and slept at 7am! a whooping of 27 hours of staying awake!! “passed out” that night
my reliable universal breakfast that can never go wrong!

bought the ORIGINAL BUS TOUR and hop on my journey to discover London!

Big Ben and the parliament houses; the skies are threatening to rain! London has real cranky weather..
Buckingham Palace… Huge crowd waiting for the change of guards that happen every 2 days at 1130H…
